Standard Air Medical Base
Our industry-standard base includes a steel hangar, a conventional or modular crew quarters, a helipad, and any necessary peripherals, such as a fuel system and/or build-outs for offices, restrooms, etc.
The steel hangar can be any size, and we offer custom or standard, industry-inspired floorplans for crew quarters buildings.
Multi-Use Air Medical Base
A single building crafted to house the aircraft and the crew. These steel buildings can be any size and incorporate the crew living space, offices, training compound, and hangar space into one composite building.
NextBase
For clients who may need to relocate their base of operation in response to market demands, SME offers a fully portable base, called NextBase. The key components of NextBase include a containerized crew quarters, high-quality tension fabric hangar, and portable helimat.
NextBase can be deployed in 1-3 weeks, allowing flight programs to quickly secure market areas and giving the option for future base portability. This base pays for itself if even one base relocation becomes necessary.
Portable Crew Quarters
Our containerized crew quarters are designed specifically for portability, decreased footprint, and increased speed to market, with a crew-inspired floor plan to support workplace comfort and efficiency.
The unibody steel design allows for integrity retention through multiple relocations, and the building pays for itself if even one relocation is necessary.
Rapid-Deploy Hangars
Our fabric-membrane hangars feature rapid deployment, require a minimal foundation, and have massively reduced relocation costs.
Full deployment is usually accomplished in 2-3 weeks, compared to the few months required for steel hangar deployment.
With military-grade durability, these structures can be quickly relocated many times and have similar life expectancies to steel buildings.
RapidBase
For clients who need to have a new base opened quickly, SME offers a fully self-contained mobile crew quarters unit designed to be temporarily deployed to any location, even sites where infrastructure and utilities are not yet available.
This capability enables bases that are under construction to be operational anywhere in the country in a very short time (1-3 days). This unit has also been leveraged to support disaster relief efforts.
